The Thunderbolts 10th Anniversary –
Are You Ready to Send It?
Back in 2017, a frothing pack of 40-odd legends lined up for the first-ever Thunderbolts Adventure—a beast of a ride spanning 230km and 5,000m of quad-busting elevation with gradients often exceeding 10%. It was wild, it was brutal, and it was unforgettable.
Now, in 2026, YOU ARE INVITED. We’ve paired back this one-day monument to a more humane 173km and 3,500 vertical metres. And if party pace is more your scene and you like to stop and ask your mate “How’s the serenity?”, try our Colt and Remington courses of 95km and 40km respectively
Make it a pilgrimage to where it all began. Australia’s greatest and longest continuously running Gravel Adventure.
Added to that, your ride falls on ANZAC day. Join us in Gloucester at 5am, Saturday April 25 for what will be a very special dawn service before we roll out with a sense of profound gratitude for this great country we call home and those who fought to protect it.

The Monument
This is the BIG ONE but not as you know. A new twist on the classic course with a shortcut to make it just that little more accessible. Now 173km and 3,526vm return to Gloucester.
Start at 6:00 AM Saturday April 25, 2026 at the Gloucester Recreation Centre.
The Colt
Introduced in 2025 this 95km loop is still spicy, but a bit less of the lung busting and more of the heart soother.

The Remington
A new 40km loop for those that like to cruise.

Mechanical Support and Feedzone at the top of Mud Hut Rd 51km.

Water Stop at 22km
