Thunderbolts Adventure Course Options

In 2025 there are two course options for Thunderbolts Adventure.

The Overnighter

This runs across 2-days with a stopover in Moonan Flat which is about the halfway point of the whole course.

• Saturday: Ride from Gloucester to Moonan Flat via Barrington Tops Forest Rd. The course is 105km and 2,400vm. There will be two water stops.

• Sunday: Ride Moonan Flat to Gloucester via Tomalla and Curricabark. The course is 125km and 2,400vm. There will be two water stops.

The One Day Monument:

In 2025 we are bringing back the one day Monument. The Monument is the full distance covering a whopping 230km and 4,800vm in one go! The Monument will start and finish at Moonan Pub on Saturday 26th April, 6:30am. Rider from the Overnighter will be able to cheer in The Monument Finishers as they arrive at the campground - hopefully before dark! Are you up for the Challenge?

Unlike in previous years, for 2025 we will not run a one-day shorter course option.

Note: In 2025 we will be camping at the Belmadar Campground. (Not the Rodeo ground as in previous years)
