About Me: Relative newcomer to gravel of 18 months. Have been riding for 30 years including MTB (still got my '99 Zaskar), touring, road racing including fondos. Experienced home bike mechanic with comprehensive workshop. Current member of Parklife Cycling Club. Recently decided to take a break from a 30 year career and IT and pursue my passion for riding and tinkering into a bicycle servicing business from home in 2026. I love being off the bitumen and on roads less traveled. Don't know what it is but riding on dirt excites me. I am predisposed to endurance events. Peaks Challenge is always a highlight of my calendar and do enjoy testing the limits of body and mind. I like to think the path to enlightenment is paved with (healthy) suffering.
