Thunderbolts Adventure Course Options

In 2025 there are now 3 course options for Thunderbolts Adventure.

The Colt (new course!)

A 90km gravel ride starting and finishing in Gloucester on Saturday. Unsupported but with a Hydraplay Drinks station at 51km (top of the climb) and 75km mark. This ride is designed for almost anyone. No massive climbs just enjoy a day or riding in the foothills of the Barrington Tops, then enjoy the party atmosphere back in Gloucester as we wait for the Monument riders to finish.

The Overnighter

This runs across 2-days with a stopover in Moonan Flat which is about the halfway point of the whole course.

• Saturday: Ride from Gloucester to Moonan Flat via Barrington Tops Forest Rd. The course is 105km and 2,400vm. There will be two water stops.

• Sunday: Ride Moonan Flat to Gloucester via Tomalla and Curricabark. The course is 125km and 2,400vm. There will be two water stops.

The One Day Monument:

The Monument is the full distance covering a whopping 230km and 4,800vm in one go! The Monument will start and finish at Gloucester on Saturday 26th April, 6:30am.
