Masaka Cycling Club: Rider Updates

In 2020, we partnered with the Masaka Cycling Club, based in Uganda, whose goals are to bring fair and equal opportunities for cycling talent in developing African nations. Our donations from the Graveleur community over the past few years have significantly supported young African riders to get into cycling. One such beneficiary is Alexandria, who received a small scholarship and assistance with equipment and attending events.

Another remarkable rider is 17-year-old Miria, who will be heading to the UCI World Cycling Centre in South Africa in May. Here's her story:

Your support has also aided Florence, who is riding for Canyon // SRAM Generation this year as the first-ever Ugandan rider to sign a pro contract.

We're deeply committed to grassroots cycling culture and proudly prioritise diversity and encouragement within the sport. Our partnership with the Masaka Cycling Foundation fills us with pride, and we eagerly look forward to many more years of collaboration. In the meantime, for further details on MCC, you can visit their website here. If you’d like to join us and support this exciting project, you can do so here or in the donation box below.

Keep on riding.
